"I am called of God. My authority is above that of kings of the earth. By revelation I have been selected as a personal representative of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is my master and He has chosen me to represent Him--to stand in His place, to say and do what He Himself would say and do if He personally were ministering to the very people to whom He has sent me. My voice is His voice, and my acts are His acts; my doctrine is His doctrine. My Commission is to do what He wants done; To say what He wants said; to be a living modern witness in word and in deed of the divinity of his great and marvelous Latter-day work. How great is my calling!"

2 Weeks!

Hi Family! Just so you know, my letter was pretty crazy last time because we only have a few minutes on the computer and I just type all I can as fast as I can. I'm not even sure if it makes sense. I'll try to be clear this time! My MTC time is now half over! Its now actually starting to seem like time is flying! I really do love it here. I am learning so much. We have lots of class study time on how to teach and just studying the doctorine but we also have lots of devotionals and large group meetings that are really great like Elder Packer of the 70 (Nathans mission Pres. I think), Bishop Edgely of the Presiding Bishopric, Elder Nueunshwander?? of the Seventy and a few others... its pretty amazing! We did have to go to a health and safety meeting this week which I learned so many great things like: 1. Don't ride your bike down stairs 2. Don't ride on the hood of your car 3. Don't climb on National Monuments 4. How to avoid Jock itch ...I really can't believe they have the Sister missionaries sit through that. hahahha I am still working on getting use to this companion 24/7 thing. Its harder than I thought it would be. My companion is great but its just weird. When she goes into the bathroom and I'm waiting outside, as long as there isn't anyone in the hall...I just dance like a maniac! It feels so good. I hope there aren't cameras =) This week we have been focusing on teaching the Plan of Salvation. I have taught the lesson quite a few times now I just love it! Its amazing how even though we are
teaching other missionaries, teachers, and pretend investigators the spirit is still so strong in our appointments and really helps us to teach to the needs of the people we are meeting with. My very favorite part to teach is about our pre-earth life and how we have a loving Heavenly Father who knows each of us individually and really has a unique plan for each of us here on this earth, a plan that will help us and those around us to prepare to meet God again. Its great!!!! I think about all of you so much and how grateful I am for such an amazing family. I am so blessed! I am glad that you guys had a nice Thanksgiving...I wish I could have been there with you. What movie did you see? Did Grandma finish reading Twilight? =) Did you guys draw names for Secret Santa? If so let me know who I have...I'll try not to get something to lame! I love you all so much and pray you are happy and safe. All my love, Sister Olsen
