"I am called of God. My authority is above that of kings of the earth. By revelation I have been selected as a personal representative of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is my master and He has chosen me to represent Him--to stand in His place, to say and do what He Himself would say and do if He personally were ministering to the very people to whom He has sent me. My voice is His voice, and my acts are His acts; my doctrine is His doctrine. My Commission is to do what He wants done; To say what He wants said; to be a living modern witness in word and in deed of the divinity of his great and marvelous Latter-day work. How great is my calling!"

I'm here!

Hi there!
Sorry I forgot to mention that my p-day would be Thursday this week because our zone had a meeting in Missoula to meet our new Mission President and his wife. It was really fun and they are so nice! Its funny to think I'll have 4 mission Presidents in my mission-I love them all though.Good news, another baptism is on the horizon! Her name is Summer and she will probably be baptised at the same time as Amanda. Summer is 18 and from Plymouth,ID but just moved out here to live with her mom's friend who is a member. We've been teaching her for a couple weeks and she is so excited to be baptised. She went from 1 pot of coffee a day to not even wanting a pepsi-she is amazing. Her dad was on meth while she was growing up her mom has been ill for most of her life so she came out here for a new start. She has snake bite piercings on her bottom lip and a few tattoos--we are still trying to convince her that her body is a temple and not a canvas, but that one is going to take some time =) She has already read through like 1/2 of the Book of Mormon since she first met with us. It is amazing to see the change that has taken place in her life in just a few weeks! Now that we are in a new area it is like starting all over again tracting it out and trying to find investigators. People where I am now are in the middle of no where for a reason-they don't want to be bothered. Its so funny when we don't even get to say one word. A guy this week opened the door and said,"Hi what can I do for you no I don't think so you guys need to get a life and stop bothering people" all in one breath--it was quite the run-on sentence; followed by a door slam that shook the whole house. ha! I could have been offering him a million bucks and he would have never known! The only thing is, what I have to offer is way better than a million $$ and he'll never know... so sad. We really haven't found anyone to teach in Florence so having Amanda and Summer doing so well in Stevensville keeps me going.Just a side note, I found out Michael Jackson died 5 days after it happened--I feel so out of touch with the world. I called my ward mission leader right up and told him it is his responsibility to tell me these sorts of things!!!I LOVE YOU ALLLLLLLLL XOXOXOXOXOXO -Sister Olsen
