"I am called of God. My authority is above that of kings of the earth. By revelation I have been selected as a personal representative of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is my master and He has chosen me to represent Him--to stand in His place, to say and do what He Himself would say and do if He personally were ministering to the very people to whom He has sent me. My voice is His voice, and my acts are His acts; my doctrine is His doctrine. My Commission is to do what He wants done; To say what He wants said; to be a living modern witness in word and in deed of the divinity of his great and marvelous Latter-day work. How great is my calling!"

HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
It has been a wonderful week! Where do I even begin? I will tell you the most exciting news first. There is a girl named Amanda who is 18 and dating a guy in our ward who met with Sis Reyes before-twice-then had a lot of anti relatives and got scared away. This week she had a few experiences though that made her want to meet with us again. First she was at work at Albertsons and all of her co-workers were saying bad things about the church and she was defending it, then one of them asked,"well why aren't you mormon then?" ...and that got her thinking. Then she went home and was looking for something and her Book of Mormon fell off the shelf and hit her in the head =) haha. Then she got out of the shower and her TV was stuck on the BYU channel (which she didn't even know she had) for 2 hours. She said she isn't very good at taking subtle hints and she could see that Heavenly Father knew how he needed to communicate with her. Its amazing. So then we went and talked with her, set up a lesson, and at the lesson this Monday she commited to baptism@#$#$%^ She will be baptised on July 25th. It was my first time inviting someone to be baptised and it was the best feeling in the world. I had only talked to her a couple of times before that but I love her so much and am SO happy! Amanda has had a REALLY tough life--her dad is 1 of 2 men who are not allowed in the entire state of Montana. She has been the 'mom' of her family most of her life and been in and out of foster care. I admire her so much for the decisions she has made and the strong woman she is. She is really excited to be moving out to go to school in Missoula and her roommate happens to be LDS =) It is amazing to see how the Lord has been watching over her and guiding her through her entire life. I feel so blessed to even know her. Please pray that she will have the strength and support she needs to endure to the end.
Kind of random, but my first week here I got a binder with mission stuff and some extra rules. They made me laugh so here are just a few; they are so amazingly Montana.
1. Never wear cowboy attire. No cowboy boots or hats, bolo ties, Western cut shirts, no belt buckles. This applies-no matter what your branch president wears.
2.Don't use "service" as an excuse to go branding or calving or do other farm work for members.
3.No mountain biking, fishing, hunting, or long arduous hikes.
Ha! I love this place. I've never seen so many missing teeth in my entire life--no joke, it was so hard for me not to stare at first, but now I'm just use to it =)
So today we had to move =( We had the best location living with members right in town but it was time for a new home. The place we live no is on the very edge of our area in Florence. We have our own apartment that is brand new. -two bedrooms,washer/dryer,dishwasher, huge living room, and a spectacular view of the mountains on each side of us. As well as a big pond in the back yard. It made me laugh thinking about when mom and dad came to get me in Hawaii and sandpoint and had no idea what an amazing living arrangement I had worked out =) You would be just as amazed at this place-haha. I feel like such a princess. Unfortunately we have to get bikes now because we don't have very many miles allowed for our car. It will take over an hour to get just into town on our bikes--Sister Reyes seems really stressed about it but it seems like a nice adventure to me. It will be hard--but I like to find challanges or ways to sacrifice out here, because that just means more blessings. Hopefully some ward members will want blessings too and give us a ride now and again....=)
***One last note: Sister Reyes gets mail from her fam and friends EVERY DAY! And I look like a loser because I've only gotten mail 2 days in the last 3 weeks....maybe just a postcard at some point would be nice =/ I really do appriciate your emails though. They really make my day!
I love you very very very much. Have a wonderful week--and don't party too hard without me! Love, Maeg
