"I am called of God. My authority is above that of kings of the earth. By revelation I have been selected as a personal representative of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is my master and He has chosen me to represent Him--to stand in His place, to say and do what He Himself would say and do if He personally were ministering to the very people to whom He has sent me. My voice is His voice, and my acts are His acts; my doctrine is His doctrine. My Commission is to do what He wants done; To say what He wants said; to be a living modern witness in word and in deed of the divinity of his great and marvelous Latter-day work. How great is my calling!"

i love you!

Hi there! Sorry the internet wasn't working last week so you didn't get an email! This is my last week with Sister Lara =( So sad. This week has been good but it has been pretty slow. This week is my last week in the Mission Chior which I love so much. Every Wednesday night we have about 300 youth come and we take them in groups of about 25 on a tour of Temple Square and we do a music/testimony program for them after. It always starts out with all the teenagers being kind of obnoxious and rowdy, but by the end they are all emotional and referring their friends to have the missionaries. Its Great! Our program this Sunday is going to be the best though. It is called "Come Unto Christ" and we are performing in the Assembly Hall. I'll try and get one of the Sisters to sneak a little video or even just a picture on my camera for you =) There is a Sister in the choir who I just love, Sister Liao from Taiwan, and the other day we were playing around and I called her a "psycho" and she said "no you are a recycle." I love the Sister's who English is there second language haha. This week I had been praying for a miracle phone call and this was my answer: A girl gave me her friend's name and number and I knew nothing about him so I was kind of nervous to call. After getting to know him I found out that he is in his twenties and homeless right now because he just lost his job here in Utah. At first he didn't want the missionaries but I just kept talking and I asked him if he had ever tried to pray before, and he said he had tried a couple of times. I told him about how much his Father in Heaven loves him and wants to hear from him, and that he truly does answer our prayers. He got a little bit emotional and he said that he would pray that night. I read him Ether 12:27 about how our Heavenly Father gives us weaknesses so that we can be humbled and come unto Christ and make our weaknesses strengths. After a great conversation, he thanked me and said that he would like to meet with the missionaries. YAY! He is going to meet with them at his friends house in Provo who referred him. I love how the Spirit can direct us in everything we do. I didn't know anything I would say before I called him, but the Spirit really helped me to know the right questions to ask and the scriptures to share in order to soften his heart. Heavenly Father truly does know us each individually and will answer our prayers. He answered mine as I called that young man, and I know he will answer his prayers. THE CHURCH IS TRUE!!!!!!!XOXOXOXO, Maeg
